Praying with the Whole Body 07/09/2017 I was challenged recently while reading the book "Simply Christian" by N. T. Wright. In it he talked about a traditional Eastern Orthodox prayer that goes like this: "Jesus Christ, Son of the living God, have mercy on me, a sinner." He said that it's traditional to repeat the prayer and let the effect sink in. He suggested an addition to the prayer that has stuck with me.
